How to Make Pumpkin Slime for Kids
In a bowl combine:
- 3/4 teaspoons of borax
- 1 1/3 cups hot water
In a separate bowl combine:
- 2 cups of white school glue
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
- 5-10 drops of orange food coloring
- 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice (optional)
Method
- Mix the contents of both bowls until the ingredients are blended, and then combine both bowls and mix.
- Continue to mix the ingredients until the slime begins to form.
- Kids of all ages are sure to think this is just the coolest!
- Once the slime is formed remove it from the bowl and knead it with clean, dry hands.
- After a bit of mixing and kneading you will be left with delightfully scented pumpkin slime!

Tips & Storage:
- Store pumpkin slime in an air-tight container between play times, and it can be used for up to two weeks.
- Borax is a laundry booster and can be found in most department stores or online here.
- If you are concerned about the slime temporarily staining skin I recommend using washable watercolors in place of food coloring when making this recipe. Both work great!
