Christmas, slime, and things that glow-in-the-dark!
This glowing Grinch slime was easy to make, and my kids have had so much fun! Are you ready to for the recipe?
Glow-in-the-Dark Grinch Slime Recipe
- 1 cup of glow glitter glue
- 4-8 ounces of liquid starch
- 3-5 drops of cinnamon extract
- 1 tsp of green glow paint
Optional Additions:
Method
- Begin by pouring two cups of glitter glue into a large mixing bowl.
- Add 3-5 drops of cinnamon extract if a holiday scent is desired.
- Mix in one teaspoon of glowing paint.
- Then, slowly begin to add liquid starch and mix, slowly adding more starch and mixing until the desired consistency is reached.
- Once the slime begins to form remove it from the bowl and knead it with clean, dry hands.
- After a bit of mixing and kneading you be left with super glowing Grinch slime!
Add heart sequins, Grinch figurines, or cookie cutters, and kids are sure to find all sorts of ways to play!
How to Make Grinch Slime Party Favors
Materials
- Empty jars
- Grinch slime
Fill the containers with slime, and you are all set with a holiday favor that kids of all ages are sure to love!
- Use a sharpie to draw Grinch faces on the jars if desired, or apply Grinch stickers.
Storage & Tips:
- Store your slime in an air-tight container between play times, and it can be used again & again!
- I recommend using a blacklight for this activity.
- You can use a blacklight flashlight or a fixture. The flashlights are really fun for kids!
- This is the glowing paint that we use in our activities.
- Liquid starch can be hard to find in stores. We get ours online here.
