Icy-Cold Snow Slime For Kids
Recipe- 2 cups of silver glitter glue
- 1-2 cups of liquid starch
Method
- Begin by pouring 2 cups of silver glitter glue into a large mixing bowl.
- Slowly begin to add liquid starch & mix, slowly adding more starch & mixing until the desired consistency is reached.
- Once the slime is formed remove it from the bowl and knead it with clean, dry hands.
- If the slime is at all sticky add a drop or two of liquid starch and mix it in.
- After a bit of mixing and kneading you will be left with the perfect winter slime!
Extend the Fun
- Add snowman parts so that kids can make OOZING snowmen. You could also cut orange and black shapes from craft foam.
- Add snowflake cookie cutters so that kids can make melting snowflakes.
- Give kids a jar so that they can squeeze the slime into it and make snowman farts!
Frozen Slime Play
- Place your slime in the freezer for an hour before play. Then, give it to the kids and watch them marvel as it slowly melts in their hands!
Making Holiday Party Favors
This slime makes a great stocking stuffer or holiday party favor. To make snow slime party favors you will need:

- Draw snowman faces on the containers using Sharpies, and then fill the containers with homemade snow slime!
Tips & Storage:
- Store your slime in an air-tight container between play times, and it can be used again and again!
- The silver glue that we used for this activity can be purchased on Amazon here.
- We added extra glitter to make our slime ultra sparkly! We also added snowflake sequins.
Troubleshooting:
- Is your slime too sticky?
- Add a little more liquid starch and knead.
- Is your slime too rubbery?
- OOPS! You added too much starch. No biggie. Just add a little more glue to your slime and knead it in!
