How to Make Halloween Spaghetti
Materials
- Cooked noodles
- Food coloring
- Cooking oil
- Spiders, eyeballs, rats, and anything you think would make a good goblin guts.
- Wrapped candy (optional)
Method
- Begin by cooking spaghetti noodles over the stove-top as you normally would.
- Drain the noodles and run them under cold water.
- Once the noodles are cool toss them in a bit of cooking oil to prevent sticking.
- Then, add them to a zip-seal bag. This makes coloring the noodles much easier.
- Add several drops of green food coloring.
- Seal the bag. Then, hand it off to the kids to mix.
- Have them continue to mix the contents inside of the bag until the noodles are fully saturated in color.
- Transfer the noodles into a sensory bin or container.
- Allow 10-15 minutes for the noodles to dry.
- Then, play can begin!
