You make snot!
This is no ordinary snot slime, either. This slime recipe helps to sooth sick kids, opening up their air-ways & helping them to breath freely. My kids actually call this "NO SNOT SLIME", because it helps to alleviate the effects of a runny nose.

"NO SNOT" Slime Recipe
- 1 cup of clear school glue
- 4-8 ounces of liquid starch
- Eucalyptus essential oil
- Green food coloring
Method
Kids will have a blast with this gross looking slime, and if they are sick this slime might actually provide some relief! Eucalyptus is known to help open up the air-ways, making it easier for stuffed-up kids to breath.
This "NO SNOT SLIME" always seems to provide relief to my kids, and they look forward to making it whenever they are home sick.
Don't have liquid starch at home?
No worries! You can make this snot slime using one of our other favorite slime recipes. Just be sure to add eucalyptus essential oil!
Make "NO-SNOT SLIME" using:
- Begin by pouring 1 cup of clear school glue into a large mixing bowl or container.
- You could alternatively use white school glue, but your slime will not look as snot-like.
- Add 3-5 drops of eucalyptus essential oil.
- Add several drops of green food coloring & mix until the desired color is achieved.
- Now, slowly begin to add liquid starch in small amounts and mix, slowly adding more starch & mixing until the desired consistency is reached.
- Once the slime is formed remove it from the bowl and knead it with clean, dry hands.
- If the slime is at all sticky add a little more starch & mix it in.
- After a bit of kneading & mixing you will be left with amazingly fun booger slime!
This "NO SNOT SLIME" always seems to provide relief to my kids, and they look forward to making it whenever they are home sick.

Make "NO-SNOT SLIME" using:
- Shaving cream
- Saline solution
- Borax
- Baking soda
- Dish soap
- Add silver glitter to your slime to give the appearance of tiny boogers. My kids thought this was hilarious, and they LOVE glitter!
- Add cookie cutters and kitchen gadgets. Then, have the kids open up a booger bakery. Rosie & Jewel laughed hysterically & got quite creative when we did this.
- Make booger farts. Give kids an empty jar. Then, have them squeeze the slime into the jar. As they do this the slime will "fart"! Again, expect hysterical laughter :)
Tips & Storage:
- Store your slime in an air-tight container between play times, and it can be used again & again!
- The eucalyptus essential oil that we used for this recipe can be purchased on Amazon here.
- Liquid starch can be hard to find in stores. We buy ours in bulk, online here.
- For the best effect I recommend using neon green food coloring.
Troubleshooting:
- Is your slime too sticky? Add a little more starch and knead.
- Is your slime too rubbery? OOPS! You added too much starch. No biggie. Just add a little glue to your slime and knead it in!
