Today, we rummaged through our art supplies in search of a fun Halloween craft that we could make. While looking I stumbled upon the cardboard tube mummies that we crafted a few years ago. That was the inspiration I needed! So, we gathered our supplies and set out to make an array of spooky crafts using cardboard tubes. Read on to see what we came up with and the materials used.
CARDBOARD TUBE CRAFTS FOR HALLOWEEN
Materials
- Cardboard tubes
- Paint/brushes
- Construction paper
- Glue/scissors
- Googly Eyes
- Craft sticks
Method
- Begin by painting cardboard tubes in solid, varying colors. You can alternatively wrap the tubes in construction paper or start with colored crating tubes.
- Once the base coat of paint is dry you can transform the tubes into Halloween creatures!
- We started off crafting monsters, but by the end we had ghosts, goblins, witches, vampires, jack-o-lanterns, and more!
Aren't they cute? Rosie and Jewel had tons of fun with this simple Halloween activity, and it kept them engaged for quite some time!
